IBPS Minimum Standard Score card are Announce


Process for Arriving at Standard Scores in the Common Written Examination
The Standard Scores are obtained by adopting the following procedure:
(i) Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is
considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong
answers.
(ii) The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care
of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held
in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores*.
(iii) The Equated Scores so obtained are standardized** to arrive at Final Standard
Score with a minimum ‘0’ and maximum ‘50’ by following Linear
Transformation Method.
This procedure is followed for each of the tests.
* Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of
scores of all the forms.
** The equated scores in each test are scaled to Standardised Scores with Mean 25 and Standard Deviation 5

    chalo bahi ek baat to clear ho gayi general ka min score card 120 hoga aur reserve cat ka 105 pata nahi log kaise 85 100 kah rahe thai

    standard deviation means how far from normal
    mathematically its equals to sqquare root of variance

    variance may be defined as average of sqquare of difference bwteen no and mean
    i didnt knw any method to get your original marks bet you may predict score is score+5 or -5 theoretically acc to me
    we cant say min cut off for general / reserve cat is 120 or 105 ,may be greater or equal to this but not less
