State Bank of Indiahas issued yet another notification in this year 2014.Now its the associate bank PO recruitment to fill entry level vacancies.With the highest number of branches across India, SBI started 200 years ago is also the oldest banking organization of the nation.Those looking to start their career in banking be part of the senior level appointments can make use of this hiring.

 

SBI is conducting this specialist officer drive for its 5 associate banks that form the State Bank Group.They are State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), State Bank of Mysore (SBM), State Bank of Patiala (SBP), State Bank of Travancore (SBT)

Online registrations start from September 1 to 18, 2014

Written exam to be held in the month on November

Eligibility:

If you wish to apply for these SBI PO jobs, make sure to posses the following qualifications:

Aged between 21 – 30 years(+5yrs for SC/ST, +3yrs for OBC)Graduation (degree) in any discipline.Pass class is sufficient.

There is a limit on the no. of chances for candidates of various categories.According to it,

 

General category candidates who have appeared for SBI Associate bank PO recruitment on 4 previous occasions are not eligible to apply.While the no. of attempts for OBC is 7, there is no restriction for SC/ST applicants.

 

Chances are to be calculated from the exam held on March 7, 2010 

          

Selection:

The procedure will involve written test(online) for 200 marks & Interview for 50 marks.

The written test will consist of the following sections - English Language,General awareness, Reasoning, Data interpretation & Descriptive paper

It is necessary for candidates to secure minimum qualifying marks in each paper that would be decided by SBI.

JAIIB aims at providing required level of basic knowledge in banking and financial services, banking technology, customer relations, basic accountancy and legal aspects necessary for carrying out day to day banking operations.
ELIGIBILITY
The examination is open only to the ordinary members of the Institute (Any person working in the banking and finance industry can apply to the Institute for membership. Individual membership is available on a life membership basis. Registration for membership is to be done online from our web site www.iibf.org.in).

Candidates must have passed the matriculation examination or its equivalent. The Institute may, however at its discretion, allow any candidate from clerical or supervisory staff cadre of banks to appear at the examination on the recommendation of the Manager of the bank / officer-in-charge of the bank’s office where the candidate is working, even if he / she is not a matriculate or its equivalent.

Subordinate staff of recognized Banking / Financial Institutions in India, who are members of the Institute, are eligible to appear at the examination, provided they have passed the matriculation examination or its equivalent.

New members are advised of the examination for which they are eligible to appear while intimating their respective membership numbers.

Banking SCHEME OF EXEMPTIONS
The scheme of exemption in subjects of JAIIB and CAIIB (old syllabus) examinations is withdrawn effective from the November / December 2011 examinations. However candidates who were already granted exemption in May 2011 and prior will continue with the exemption granted till they complete the permissible time limit of 4 attempts to pass the examination and they will only be given 'Pass Class'.

MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION
Candidates are allowed to attempt the examination either in Hindi or English, and should clearly fill in their choice of medium in the Examination Application Form. In any case change of medium will not be allowed at a later stage.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION
Each Question Paper will contain approximately 120 objective type multiple choice questions, carrying 100 marks including questions based on case study / case lets. The Institute may, however, vary the number of questions to be asked for a subject. There will NOT be negative marking for wrong answers.

IBPS has finally finalised the  list of the all the candidates allotted in IBPS PO II recruitment project2012-13 on its website. As the recruitment process of IBPS PO II started, nearly, 7,50,000 candidates appeared for the written test. Out of which, 61,339 candidates, were qualified for the common interview process. After common interviews, nearly 45,000 candidates were declared successful in the interview process, but as per this list uploaded by IBPS, only 28,118 candidates, could finally be allotted a bank.It is not necessary all 28,118 candidates joined the bank. We guessed nearly 24,000 posts are filled through IBPS PO II Recruitment project . The reason behind this assumption is clear ,in 2012-13 SBI and SBI group also filled 2200 post , Some other nationalised bank called nearly 4000 specialist officers through IBPS.The list include Roll Numbers and Marks of all the candidates selected (or allotted a bank) in the IBPS PO II.This gives us a rough idea only .
