RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT IN INDIAN METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT, 2011SSC

Commission will make All India Open Examination recruitment to the posts of SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT IN THE INDIAN METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT. The selection process will comprise of a Written Examination followed by Interview.

VACANCIES / RESERVATION

1. 465 (UR-230, OBC-128, SC-70, ST-37) & Horizontal reservation for OH-10 & HH-
   10).
2. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/ExS/PH etc. categories is available as per extant Govt.
   Orders.
3. The posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL) i.e. the candidate, on selection, may be
   asked to serve anywhere in the country.
4. The posts have been identified suitable for the persons suffering from disabilities of (OA) One
   Arm affected, (OL) One Leg affected and (PD) Partially Deaf.
5. The number of vacancies is tentative and subject to variation.

FEE: RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY(Rs.100/-)
Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, as per Govt. orders.
