Eligibility:

If you wish to apply for these SBI PO jobs, make sure to posses the following qualifications:

Aged between 21 – 30 years(+5yrs for SC/ST, +3yrs for OBC)Graduation (degree) in any discipline.Pass class is sufficient.

There is a limit on the no. of chances for candidates of various categories.According to it,

 

General category candidates who have appeared for SBI Associate bank PO recruitment on 4 previous occasions are not eligible to apply.While the no. of attempts for OBC is 7, there is no restriction for SC/ST applicants.

 

Chances are to be calculated from the exam held on March 7, 2010 

          

Selection:

The procedure will involve written test(online) for 200 marks & Interview for 50 marks.

The written test will consist of the following sections - English Language,General awareness, Reasoning, Data interpretation & Descriptive paper

It is necessary for candidates to secure minimum qualifying marks in each paper that would be decided by SBI.

OMG ! NICL AO 2013 ReExam Paper leaked Out Again

Candidates appearing for the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) exam in the city on Sunday remained on tenterhooks with speculation about a paper leak doing the rounds yet again. NICL, a Kolkata-based Government of India undertaking, had had to cancel the countrywide exam organised in September and schedule it for December 15, 22 and 29 across several cities since the exam paper was 'leaked' in advance. On December 23, some applicants had given vent to their frustration on social-media sites after hearing that the December 29 exam paper had also been leaked at some centres. Officials had, however, dismissed the concerns as rumours. About 40,000 applicants had applied for the post of administrative officer in Uttar Pradesh. On Sunday, the exam was being organised across 21 centres in the city. NICL deputed four 'observers' at each centre, but the paper was apparently leaked on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. The exam was held in Lucknow and Allahabad in UP and in six more cities across the country. Earlier, in December, NICL had organised the class-I officer examination across 34 cities. About 29,000 aspirants had applied in Lucknow and 10,746 in Allahabad for the 1,434-odd positions available in four public-sector insurance companies. The total monthly emoluments on offer for selected aspirants in metropolitan cities will be in the range of Rs 32,000 to Rs 35,000 to begin with. TOI had a copy of the leaked question paper and cross-checked it with the help of observers at the centre located in Para area on Sunday morning. After a quick look, the observers and institute authorities said 30 to 40 percent of the questions were the same as in Sunday's exam paper. Moreover, while coming out of the exam centre, at least 12 candidates said the numerical analysis questions set seemed the same as that in the leaked paper, while in the remaining three sections, over 50 per cent of questions were the same. Senior superintendent of police J Ravinder Goud said police have received a copy of the leaked paper and will inform NICL's personnel department in Kolkata.
