On-line applications are invited for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Executive, General Central Service, Group–C (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) in the Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India in the revised pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- (plus usual Central Government allowances).

NUMBER OF VACANCIES : 750 (GEN-380, OBC-202, SC-112 and ST-56)

(Reservation of vacancies for SC/ST/OBC are as per Government of India Rules).

The numbers of vacancies are provisional and liable to change. The posts are temporary but are likely to continue indefinitely.

AGE : Not exceeding 27 years as on the last date for receipt of application i.e. the closing date. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC and also relaxable up to 40 years of age for Government Servants having three years of continuous service. The upper age is also relaxable to certain other categories ex-servicemen & J&K residents in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government. The date of birth will invariably be taken as recorded in the Matriculation certificate. No other proof of date of birth shall be accepted.

Note:-Examination Centre once opted will not be changed.

SERVICE LIABILITY : Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.

While registering his/her candidature, the candidate should furnish correct information in each column otherwise his/her candidature is liable to be rejected. Note : Degree/Diploma etc. obtained by candidates from open Universities/Distance Education will not be accepted unless the same is accompanied by a certificate to the effect that the course is recognized by Distance Education Council in terms of Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44 published in Gazette of India dated 08.04.1995 for the relevant period when the candidate has acquired the relevant qualification.

Scale of Pay : Rs.9300-34800

Mode of Selection: Usually, selection to the posts will be made on the basis of Skill test / Interview.

Application Fee : Rs.50/-(Rupees fifty only) in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps which are available in all Post Offices. Any other mode of payment viz., cash, money order, cheque, DD & Postal order will not be accepted. Fee should be paid separately for each category for which applications are submitted separately.
