Job Description :
* The Tax Manager will report to the Senior Manager Tax.
* The Tax Manager will work closely to support and direct the Finance and Operations Teams in tax matters.
* The Tax Manager will be responsible for all India based tax matters.
* He will be responsible for all India tax planning. He will be responsible for the final decision on India tax matters in consultation with the Head Taxation.
* He will also be responsible for managing the global tax matters of the company.
* He will manage the relationship with all tax consultants and be required to take stock of the historic work done by the tax consultants for the erstwhile merged entities.
* The Tax Manager will be responsible for learning the business of the bank and what it does, and the financial processes it uses, to better leverage the use of outside tax consultants. He will be required to prepare workpapers, tax returns, and review tax returns and other tax filings.
Desired Profile :
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Commerce or Chartered Accountancy in Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent. Job role in Analyst or equivalent.
